I suspect the story will be quite long, which means it will be a while in the writing.
The plan is to get at least to the end of "8th" year in this fic. Considering we are still just after the war, at the beginning of May, and it is chapter 10 already, with 44,000 words, the overall story will most likely be at least ten times that. About the length of one of Rowling's larger bricks.
There is a lot that happens just after the war, and it is very compressed, but once the summer gets going for real, the scenes will spread out a bit along the timeline.
I am trying to post at least a chapter a month, although some months might get more than one, and there are times of the year where RL gets crazy busy.
