I, too, followed the link from Aspen's group and I'm really glad you pointed this story out. It is richly detailed and nuanced. I can't wait for the next chapter, and I think you should definitely post it on one of the other sites so that it can get a wider audience.
I have especially loved how you have been fleshing out various canon characters. Percy and Molly were beautifully drawn and so poignant. And I can easily believe that Ginny would want to be needed and active--not passively protected. Rowling really goofed up, IMHO, on her characterization in DH.
I am now eagerly awaiting Remus and Tonk's funeral. Does that sound really sick? ;-)
